Geocoding

Anything that exists can be represented spatially; take any list of people, places, or things and put them on a map. Geocoding is the starting point for spatially relating data and allows for mission-centric planning and targeted marketing.

Be Creative and Think Programmatically.

Evaluation and Survey Research

Title 1 Census Boundary Analysis

The Title 1 federal allocation formula to districts uses US Census socioeconomic data. To make those calculations, the US Census has its own set of school district map boundaries that follow Census Block boundaries. Your US Census school district boundaries may not match the legal boundaries of the district; however, the district would want them as close as possible so its allocation is as accurate as possible.

Demographic Data, Planning, and Siting

Demographic data sources are assembled and put into a format where they can be consumed with freeware GIS so that clients may study it and ruminate on different scenarios.

Routing

The State of Iowa has undertaken a statewide address geocoding project which will produce a single, standardized statewide GIS dataset, including building footprints. This will offer increased efficiencies in many areas, especially routing of vehicles. As fuel and transport costs continue to rise, smart and efficient routes are more necessary now than ever before.
